The average price of a new car has exceeded $50,000, Kelley Blue Book reports. So, if you’re buying a new car, you probably want it to last as long as possible so you get your money’s worth.

When it comes to the expected longevity of a car, brand really matters. Currently, the average car has only a 4.8% chance of lasting 250,000 miles – but four brands have bested the industry average, according to a new iSeeCars.com reports. The report also identifies the four brands that are least likely to reach 250,000 miles.

If you’re looking for a long-lasting vehicle, here are the car brands you should buy – and the ones to avoid.
