Mercedes-Benz recalls more than 24K vehicles. View affected models

Mercedes-Benz initiated the recall of more than 24,000 vehicles due to a malfunction in the propeller shaft, which could cause the vehicle to lose power while moving. According to a notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a Mercedes-Benz customer outside the United States reported “losing propulsion without warning” in October 2025.
