Data entry is one task that is probably going to be the first to be disrupted by AI. With the latest AI-powered automation tools now processing and organizing data faster than humans, data entry jobs are rapidly becoming obsolete. Additionally, AI makes fewer errors during data entry and can complete tasks that take hours in a matter of seconds.

Telemarketers and cold-calling sales is a tough job, but until recently, it was all done by humans. But with the rise of AI voice agents and targeted digital marketing campaigns, AI can now ask questions, answer callers and even offer products without any human intervention. Additionally, most consumers are now wary of unwanted calls, so telemarketing is already somewhat of a dying industry.

You’ve probably already seen self-checkout kiosks at your local grocery store, but AI could replace all cashiers in the coming decade. With the ability to answer questions, resolve problems, and process payments, cashiers are becoming less and less common at many retailers.

Travel agents can help you find deals that no one else has access to, but AI has made finding travel deals extremely easy. Many online booking platforms and AI trip planners already allow consumers to instantly create custom itineraries and can often find better deals than travel agents.
Bank tellers
In-person banking is dying out and with the rise of AI, bank tellers are becoming less and less common. Consumers already use mobile banking apps and ATMs for most transactions and physical bank branch traffic continues to decline. Virtual bank tellers will be AI-powered and able to handle every banking situation in the near future.
warehouse pickers and packers
While the rise of Amazon and other large online retailers has paved the way for the growth of warehouse pickers and packers, robotics and AI-powered logistics systems are rapidly reducing the need for manual labor in fulfillment centers. Robots can pick, pack and even ship most items to warehouses, requiring minimal human intervention.

Writing great articles, ad copy, and even corporate emails with AI has become commonplace. There are now AI writing assistants that can detect grammar, tone, and clarity issues in real time and edit a written piece in a fraction of the time of a human editor.
