    Brush fires erupted in Southern California on Friday, April 3, with the fire already expanding to more than 2,500 acres in Riverside County. According to the National Weather Service, the area faces high winds on April 3, with some wind advisories in effect through Saturday, April 4. The fast-growing Springs Fire east of Moreno Valley grew to 2,817 acres as of 3:05 p.m.
