The appointments support private wealth efforts in partnership with Nuveen, strengthening the delivery of insights, education and client solutions

New York, May 04, 2026–(business telegram)–Churchill Asset Management LLCAmerican asset management company Nuveen Private Capitaltoday announced the appointment of Michael Pond as Managing Director, Senior Investment Strategist; Brett Griffey as Managing Director, Investment Strategist; and Peter Repetto as Principal, Head of Research and Investment Insights.

These appointments reflect Churchill’s continued investment in investor education and client engagement, and its commitment to providing clients with institutional-quality insight and portfolio construction expertise across the wealth channel. All three will report to Randy Schwimmer, vice president and chief investment strategist.

Mr. Pond and Mr. Griffey will serve as investment strategists within the Investor Solutions Group, and join the existing team focused on providing insight and portfolio solutions to wealth clients. In these roles, he will serve as a subject matter expert on private debt and private equity, working closely with Nuveen’s global delivery team to deepen client relationships across the wealth channel.

Mr. Repetto will lead the firm’s research and investment insights function. He will oversee the development of differentiated, data-driven content and thought leadership for wealth management and institutional audiences, support educational initiatives, and partner across the investment, marketing and distribution teams to articulate Churchill’s perspective on private capital markets.

“As access to private markets expands, the need for high-quality investor education has never been greater – and we take that responsibility seriously,” Schwimmer said. “Peter’s leadership strengthens our ability to provide timely research and perspective, while Mike and Brett will help translate those insights into actionable guidance for clients. Together, these additions enhance the way we connect with investors investing in private markets.”

Mr. Pond joins from BlackRock, where he served as chief strategist for the firm’s wealth-focused private debt offerings and played a key role in the commercialization and launch of various semi-liquid products. Prior to this, he worked in a portfolio management team at AllianceBernstein.

Mr. Graffy joins from Aksia, where he partnered with global institutional clients on private markets portfolio strategy, construction and related investment advisory and discretionary activities. Previously, he was a member of the Marquette Associates research team focused on private debt, private equity, growth equity and venture capital investments.

Mr. Repetto joins from iCapital, where he was an investment strategist focused on developing public and private markets investment ideas. Prior to this, he was at Franklin Templeton in asset allocation and multi-asset solutions roles.
