Small towns are thriving in every corner of the United States, but some are much more prosperous than others.
If you’ve ever wondered which small spot in your state holds the most money, GOBankingRates (GBR) has the answer for you. A recent GBR analysis of cities and towns with 500 to 1,500 households produced a list of 50 places that are at the top.
The analysis incorporated data from the US Census American Community Survey, AreaVibes and Zillow. Multiple data points were weighted for each city. The median household income in the 50 cities on the list ranges from about $100,000 to $250,000. The average home value ranges from $217,000 to $4.5 million.
