    Apple Cash makes it easy to send and receive money directly on your iPhone — but it takes a few extra steps to get that money into your actual bank account. Whether you want a free standard transfer or need funds immediately, here’s how to do it.

    What is Apple Cash?

    Apple Cash is a digital card that lives in your Apple Wallet. You can use it to send and receive money through Messages or the Wallet app, and spend it anywhere Apple Pay is accepted — online, in stores, or in apps. It’s free and comes pre-loaded on any iPhone.

    The main differences from Venmo or Cash App: Apple Cash works like a real card in your wallet, not just a payments app.

    How to Transfer Apple Cash to Bank Account (iPhone)

    1. open purse Apps on your iPhone
    2. tap your apple cash card
    3. tap three-dot sign in the top right corner
    4. Tap “Bank Transfer”
    5. Enter the amount you want to transfer ($1-$10,000)
    6. Tap “next” choose more Standard transfer
    7. Confirm transfer is complete

    How to Transfer Apple Cash to a Bank Account (iPad)

    1. open settings
    2. Tap “Wallet and Apple Pay”
    3. tap your apple cash card
    4. Tap “Bank Transfer”

    How to Transfer Apple Cash to Debit Card Instantly

    Need quick money? You can transfer to a debit card and have the funds available within 30 minutes – sometimes instantly.

    First, add your debit card to the wallet if you haven’t already:

    1. open purse Tap the app and “+” button
    2. Follow the on-screen steps to add your debit card
    3. Some card issuers may require you to verify your identity through their app or website

    Then transfer:

    1. Follow the same steps as a standard bank transfer
    2. When prompted, select “Immediate Transfer” instead of standard
    3. Select the debit card you want to transfer to and confirm

    Minors can get Apple Cash from adults set up in their Apple Cash Family account and use it anywhere Apple Pay is accepted. Age determines which transfer options are available:

    • Under 13: Only Apple Cash can be transferred to a bank account
    • 13 and over: Can be transferred to bank account or eligible debit card

    • Can I transfer Apple Cash without a bank account?
      • Yes, you can transfer Apple Cash to a Visa or MasterCard debit card instantly. This option will cost 1.5% of the transfer amount. If you want to transfer to a bank account, it will take one to three business days, although this option is free.
    • Is there a fee to transfer Apple Cash?
      • Yes. The fee to transfer from Apple Cash to a Visa or MasterCard debit card is 1.5% of the transfer amount, with a minimum of 25 cents and up to $15 on the transaction. The fee will be displayed before completing the transfer.
      • If you choose to transfer money from Apple Cash to a bank account, there is no fee.
    • Why is my Apple Cash transfer pending?
      • Your Apple Cash transfer may be pending because you or the other person has not verified the bank within Apple Cash. Transfers may be pending until the verification process is completed. Apple Cash may also review transfers for security reasons or to protect against fraud. If you have internet connectivity issues or there is an issue with your debit card, the instant transfer may be delayed. You should expect most standard bank transfers to be completed between one and three business days. If your transfer is not complete by then, you may need to contact Apple Support.
    • What if I enter wrong bank details?
      • If you enter incorrect bank details in your Apple Cash transfer, the transaction may be declined and you will get the cash back in your balance. However, be careful if you enter incorrect details and they are transferred to the verified account. You should contact your bank immediately to let them know about the error and get your money back. Apple is not able to reverse the transfer once the process has started.
    • Can I cancel an Apple Cash transfer after sending it?
      • No, you cannot cancel an Apple Cash transfer. If the status still shows as pending or the other person hasn’t accepted the funds yet, you can contact Apple Support or contact your bank to see if they can place a hold on the transaction, but there is no option to cancel or reverse the transfer at this time.
