More than 10 million metal wire-bristle grill brushes sold at Home Depot are being voluntarily recalled after reports the loose bristles could get into food and cause injury, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said. According to the CPSC, the recall involves six Nexgrill brush models sold nationwide between 2015 and 2026, ranging in price from $5 to $15. The agency said metal hairs can break off, stick to the grill mesh and be swallowed, potentially becoming lodged in the throat or digestive tract and causing internal injuries.
