The US military is investigating the apparent flight of that military branch’s Apache helicopters over the singer’s Nashville home over the weekend kid RockA prominent supporter of President Donald Trump, an Army spokesman said Monday.
Kid Rock posted on Saturday video on her x account Showing two helicopters hovering and flying close to his home, he pointed to them, pumped his fist in appreciation, and saluted while standing next to a pool, with a miniature “Statue of Liberty” and a sign above his head that read, “Southern White House.”
“This is a level of respect that no California governor will ever know,” the singer wrote in a post, referring to Gov. Gavin Newsom, a staunch Democratic critic of Trump. “God bless America and all those who have made the supreme sacrifice to protect her.”
“The Army is aware of a video circulating online showing AH 64 apache helicopter “The shooting is going on near a private residence in the Nashville area,” Army spokesman Maj. Montrell Russell said in an email statement to CNBC.
“Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism and established flight rules. An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements,” Russell said.
“If any violations are found, appropriate action will be taken. No further comment will be made until the review is complete,” the spokesperson said.
The posts by Kid Rock were made on the same day that anti-Trump “No Kings” demonstrations were held in the United States.
Newsom’s x account Kid Rock was mocked in February for a video that showed him and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. working out together shirtless.
