Nationwide hair removal salon chain European Wax Center has agreed to a multimillion-dollar settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit that alleges the company used tracking technologies to collect consumer information.
According to the settlement website, the company is accused of collecting users’ data through “pixels, cookies, code, and/or tracking or analytics tools” on its website and then sharing that information with third parties without consumers’ consent.
Customers visiting www.WaxCenter.com, including customers who booked online appointments between June 30, 2023 and April 2, 2026, are eligible to file a settlement claim.
European Wax Center is set to pay nearly $5 million in settlement payments to affected customers, but the company “denies that it violated any laws,” saying it agreed to the settlement to avoid the costs and disruptions of continued litigation.
How to Claim Your European Wax Center Settlement Money
All settlement claim forms must be submitted either online or by mail 30 June 2026.
Customers who submit valid, timely claim forms may receive up to $10 from the settlement. The final cash payout may decrease depending on the total number of valid claims filed.
Payments will begin to be distributed once the settlement is finally approved by the court. That hearing is scheduled for July 15, 2026.
Eligible customers have several options: submit a claim by June 30, withdraw from the lawsuit by June 30, object to the settlement by June 30, attend a hearing on July 15 to present their opinion, or do nothing.
