Experienced strategist to lead content commercialization, strengthen wealth advisory relationships, and collaborate with institutional clients
Philadelphia, April 30, 2026–(business telegram)–Nomura Asset Management today announced the appointment of Andrew “Andy” Goldberg as Chief Investment Strategist of Nomura Asset Management International.1A newly created role designed to elevate the firm’s global thought leadership position and accelerate growth across our institutional and funding channels.
Andy will be responsible for developing and commercializing investment insights across the platform, positioning the firm as a leading voice on markets and investment strategy. He has extensive experience translating complex market dynamics into actionable investment insights for financial advisors and institutional clients.

He will serve as a primary spokesperson for the firm, providing timely market analysis to the media and advisors and working directly with institutional clients to provide customized investment insights.

Andy spent more than two decades at JPMorgan Asset Management and Private Bank, where he developed a thought leadership platform reaching a broad international network of financial professionals and established himself as a sought-after speaker, distinguished by his ability to make sophisticated investment concepts accessible to advisors and their clients. Most recently, Andy served as Head of Collectable Car Loans at Sotheby’s Financial Services, where he led a team providing creative asset-backed financing solutions for collectors, giving Andy experience in private lending and the alternative asset class.

Biography of Andrew (Andy) Goldberg
Andy Nomura is chief investment strategist for Asset Management International, a role he assumed in April 2026. He is responsible for developing and commercializing investment insights to help accelerate growth in our institutional and wealth businesses and establish the company as a leading voice in market perspective and investment strategy. As the firm’s primary spokesperson, he works closely with investment teams to provide timely market analysis to the media, advisors and institutional clients.
Andy has decades of experience translating complex market dynamics into simple and actionable investment insights for clients. Prior to this, he spent more than 20 years at JPMorgan Asset Management and Private Bank, first developing the firm’s “Guide to the Markets” offering, and later serving as global head of markets and investment strategy for Private Bank, where he designed solutions for some of the world’s wealthiest families. Later, he launched the firm’s Passion Advisory Group to advise clients on the financial aspects of assets such as art, autos, yachts and wine. Before recently joining Nomura, Andy was Head of Collectable Car Loans at Sotheby’s Financial Services, where he led a team of loan specialists dedicated to the financing of rare and collectible cars to unlock untapped liquidity for collectors.
