Organic blueberries sold at Publix grocery stores have been recalled due to possible E. coli contamination.
According to a public news release, Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur SA recalled its frozen GreenWise Organic IQF blueberries because the fruit may be contaminated with E. coli.
Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur SA and Publix received 12 reports of consumers experiencing stomach illnesses linked to E. coli infections between May 11 and June 5, a Publix news release said.

Which blueberries are being recalled at Publix?
Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur SA issues a recall for its 10-ounce frozen GreenWise Organic IQF blueberries. According to a Publix news release, the blueberries’ lot code is 60401 and the best by date is February 9, 2028.

The recalled organic blueberries were sold at Publix stores in the following states:

What to do if you purchased recalled blueberries?
Remove affected blueberries immediately or return them to place of purchase for a full refund. Blueberries with a purchase date of July 3, 2026 or earlier should be discarded, Publix advises.
